The exhibition catalogue for Sensation, arguably the defining contemporary art exhibition of the 1990s. It was the first definitive survey of work by the YBAs, or Young British Artists and consisted of forty-two works from the collection of Charles Saatchi. Controversy and ourtrage whirled around many of the works inlcuding Damien Hirst's The Physical Impossibility of Death in the Mind of Someone Living and Tracey Emin's Everyone I Have Ever Slept with 1963-1995. Photographs of the artworks are accompanied by portraits of the artists by Johnnie Shand Kydd. The desirable, scarcer hardback edition.
